Deinfluence me: Espresso Machine
Lets look at the cons based on my exp with a Breville Barista Express. ● mahal ung mga filter tablets. 1k ata per pack/ 6 pieces. ● aside sa matagal ung final product, you have to clean it every time you use it. Otherwise, may build up, may amoy, and pests can enter. ● the machine has a grinder, per

At This Price, Nespresso Is Getting Hard to Justify
Actually, I started by grinding my own beans, pero French press and drip coffee lang. I was really close to buying a Breville Barista Express when it was still 40k+ before the pandemic, but we ended up choosing the Nespresso Lattissima Touch because it could already make lattes, it was more convenie

What espresso machine did you start on, and would you recommend it to a beginner today?
Breville barista express. Yes and no, yes because ideally it’s not a bad starter machine, but no because as your knowledge of espresso accumulates, you’ll realize a bambino and a decent grinder is the better option.

The Best Opening in Espresso Game - Sicilian Defense of Coffee Machines
But what about temperature stability? You get 3s warm up, but then portafilter and grouphead is cold. So all the warm water cools down before it extracts the coffee. That's main reason I didn't want thermocoil based machines. (They tend to use lot's of plastics to avoid cold metal issues).I don't th

Baratza Preciso - still worth it? [$100]
Yep, Preciso is still a solid pick — way nicer control and consistency than the Barista Express stock grinder or an Encore. Used at $100 that’s a good deal, sits around the Breville entry models in performance but with simpler, more reliable mechanics.

I bought a cheap Chinese e61 espresso machine
Thanks for the response. "It does an ok job" is not, in the first instance, Inspiring, but when you followed that with it's "Much better than the Breville machine..." that helped. I also have a BBE and think it's poor in many areas, but brewed ok coffee, no comparison to the Meraki, but an ok job. T

Breville not grinding beans
It's really not a cost issue. Bambino Plus + DF54 = $650 when you can find them on sale. That's about the cost of an Barista Express Impress. Learning curve for the Bambino+DF54 is higher. That's really the only down side, as long as you're OK with single-dosing. Unless you're using it all in the sa

Best beginner machine?
I started with a sunbeam machine and grinder that I used for over 5 years, until it started having problems and it eventually felt like I outgrew it and wanted something more consistent with a bit more steam power etc. If I was starting from zero I think I would get a breville bambino something rela

DIM from buying an espresso machine — Breville, De’Longhi, or Gemilai
I have breville barista express. I get decent espresso , just have to calibrate it properly to get the right pressure. Only issue is nakakatamad minsan since you have to cleanup after every use. That’s why I still have instant coffee on my coffee station for those mornings na wala ka sa mood mag ope

Better alternative to Breville Barista Express?
I used mine daily. Broke today. This is my second BBE. They both broke after 4 years. This time is a faulty milk sensor. Getting them serviced is extremely expensive and not worth it. I don’t think I’ll buy Breville again.
