Deinfluence me: Espresso Machine
Lets look at the cons based on my exp with a Breville Barista Express. ● mahal ung mga filter tablets. 1k ata per pack/ 6 pieces. ● aside sa matagal ung final product, you have to clean it every time you use it. Otherwise, may build up, may amoy, and pests can enter. ● the machine has a grinder, per

Barista Express/ Impress or La Specialista Opera? [500-620 USD]
I have no idea about wattage converting or warranty claims in south east Asia but out of these two machines the Breville is higher quality and will make better coffee. That said, as someone with a Breville Barista Express, if I were purchasing an entry level espresso machine again I would get a Brev

Breville vs Ninja [Budget between $500-$700]
OP: Absolutely go the separate machine and grinder route , if you’re going for the Breville and not ninja. You’ll get a much much better grinder if you buy a bambino and let’s say a Baratza encore ESP than you would if you get the barista express. Also, all in one machines are great when all element

Is it time to throw in the towel? [$1000]
Five years out of a Barista Pro is about average. The 5-second shutoff is usually a failing solenoid valve or a clogged flow meter, and Breville repair costs often hit $150-250 which is hard to justify on a machine that may have other components aging out. At $1000, you're in a really good spot for

What espresso machine did you start on, and would you recommend it to a beginner today?
Breville barista express. Yes and no, yes because ideally it’s not a bad starter machine, but no because as your knowledge of espresso accumulates, you’ll realize a bambino and a decent grinder is the better option.

Is this fixable?
Wow just 2 years! I recently found my 10 year old BBE looking like this. It’s probably been like that for years. I would run a cleaning tablet on the head but rarely pulled the shower screen. I have sent my machine back Breville asking to replace the group head. It has been the worst experience so f

The Best Opening in Espresso Game - Sicilian Defense of Coffee Machines
But what about temperature stability? You get 3s warm up, but then portafilter and grouphead is cold. So all the warm water cools down before it extracts the coffee. That's main reason I didn't want thermocoil based machines. (They tend to use lot's of plastics to avoid cold metal issues).I don't th

Baratza Preciso - still worth it? [$100]
Yep, Preciso is still a solid pick — way nicer control and consistency than the Barista Express stock grinder or an Encore. Used at $100 that’s a good deal, sits around the Breville entry models in performance but with simpler, more reliable mechanics.
