I'd get the ATK recommended - Braun MultiQuick 5 at $60. It solves some issues that I have with my current Cuisinart immersion blender. Unlimited budget, I'd get the Vitamix ($145) or Bamix Pro 2 ($245).

I'd get a decent immersion blender as a first blender. Works nearly as well, can do things like blending soups in the pot or whipping egg whites that a countertop blender can't, easier to clean, and doesn't take up much room in a drawer. America's Test Kitchen likes the Braun Multiquick 5, which run

Braun Multiquick 5 Vario Hand Blender. You can get it at crate & barrel. Use the mini food processor attachment.

Doesn't matter how powerful an immersion blender is. The better ones permit adjusting speed. I have a 12 year old Cuisinart. Like the detachable blade shaft and head, hate the 2-button power on. America's Test Kitchen has preferred the Braun MultiQuick 5 for a decade, and from my experience, I can u

Get Braun multiquick 5 pro, 7 or 9 for salsa but I prefer vitamix , I just made adobo and the chiles just became liquid, my oster can’t do that. For mass the kitchenaid is ok 👍, if you have nothing I recommend mixers where the bowl spins like Bosch or arkhasum

A stick blender is small and can be relatively in expensive. The America's Test Kitchen Pick is the Braun multiquick 5. I have a cuisinart that cost half as much at cost o and its fine. I love my food processor. Its a higher end ine and pretty powerful. I use the slicing and grating disks all the ti

I just went through this escapade. I wasn't ready to dump the money into a Vitamix, I may be moving across the country shortly. For what you want to make, which is primarily what I wanted mine for, I settled on two viable options. Braun Multiquick 5/7. I got lucky, Amazon had a glitch and they had t

The difference comes in accessories and reliability. My recommendation usually is cuisinart 400w and Braun multiquick 5 pro and newer, I love when it comes with a food processor (I use not as my small one since I have a 11 cups one). Having 5 speeds makes a huge difference in the mess you can do and
