I totally feel you on that! I'm not a fan of the racer style gaming chairs for me personally and gaming chairs are generally not the best for your back and posture. Umm idk about $250 but if you can cough up another $50 at that price i think the branch ergonomic pro 14 points is a good option Pretty sure u can get it for $300 open box or slightly used But anyways i personally think its a fantastic chair for said price

The seat pad depth IS adjustable in the Branch Ergonomic chair. There is a sliding lever under the seat pan on the right side. Slide it outward and the seat will slide forward and back.
