HDB 630 vs Bathys OG (vs PX8 S2)

I've owned these sets. The PX8 S2 is energetic out of the box; the recessed midrange, and boosted treble and low frequencies are how most consumer headphones are tuned, which is why some listeners will have issues with sibilance on certain sets. The PX8 S2 are especially strident; I prefer the PX7 S

PX8 S2 – a personal review

Shit dude...you're using your Px8 s2 at the gym? Youre brave. B&W dont mix well with perspiration. I use a pair of Bose to ANC out the crap gym music and keep the crown jewels for home listening.

PX7 S3 (£284) vs PX8 S2 (£504)

I owned both sets and kept the PX7 S3. The ANC in the PX8 S2 certainly isn’t terrible and is roughly on par with the HDB 630s; but the tangible improvement to ANC and transparency that the PX7 S3 brings to the table compared to the marginal improvement in sound quality the PX8 S2 provides made the P

H100

Yeah, the new headband construction introduced with H95/HX/Portal is a huge fail unfortunately, compared to the older one used from H6 down to H9 3rd Gen which would last a century. Seems like B&W headphones (Px7 S2/S3 and Px8/S2) are affected by that same issue even more though. Thankfully H100 are

PX7 S3 indigo blue

Why do the Px8s not have an equalizer in the app?

exactly. Now because of this, I will probably have to buy the Px7 S3 instead of the Px8 even though they are about the same price now and the Px8 feel and look nicer from the materials...I would love the green Px8 but with this limiting EQ, I'm unsure if it makes sense. And I can't really justify pa

Risk worth the savings? Probs not… unlessss

UPDATE: unfortunately the Amazon preowned gods were not on my side this time, headphones got delivered in a basic Amazon box; only came in their case (which was dented n marked), no original box, no instructions, and the 2 connection cords. There were sweat stains on the headband, and the headphones

Are PX8 s2 worth extra vs PX7s3

I have both the PX8S2 (received last week) and the Sennheiser HDB-630 (received last month). I experimented with the EQ and (to me) thought the setting that sounded the best was bass -3, treble +3.5 Even though they were fresh out of the box and didn't have the 50 hours or so break-in time, I liked

Bought Bose QC Ultra..Genuinely so disappointed with anc, dud or is this as good as it gets?

I have the Bose quietcomfort ultra 2, and they are the only headphones that almost cope with the London underground. In the office, they give me near silence. The closest I have are the Sony xm5. The Bowers and Wilkins PX8 S2 are the most disappointing, Edifier, earfun, and even buds do a better job

Early Christmas gift

It's not good that the hissing sound is present, and it does denote a less than ideal electronic engineering, however it's a very common "issue" in many Bluetooth headphones from different brands (even popular ones such as Sony, Sennheiser, Bang & Olufsen - i.e. it's absolutely not an issue limited
