I’ve owned many « high-end » bluetooth headphones over the last 2 or 3 years, including the Sennheiser Momentum 4, Bose QC Ultra Gen 1 and 2, B&W Px7 S2e, B&W Px7 S3, B&W Px8 S1 and S2, Beoplay H95, Focal Bathys, Sony XM5, and several others… Right now, the Cambridge Audio P100 SE offer by far the b

Ruling out ANC, on sound quality alone: Momentum 4 > B&W PX7 S2e > Bose QC Considering ANC: Bose QC > Momentum 4 ~= B&W PX7 S2e The Momentum will also have much better customization options when it comes to EQ, offering both a 5-band EQ and Sound Personalization, which is a pretty powerful little to

Yeah, the new headband construction introduced with H95/HX/Portal is a huge fail unfortunately, compared to the older one used from H6 down to H9 3rd Gen which would last a century. Seems like B&W headphones (Px7 S2/S3 and Px8/S2) are affected by that same issue even more though. Thankfully H100 are

I owned both sets and kept the PX7 S3. The ANC in the PX8 S2 certainly isn’t terrible and is roughly on par with the HDB 630s; but the tangible improvement to ANC and transparency that the PX7 S3 brings to the table compared to the marginal improvement in sound quality the PX8 S2 provides made the P

I was not as impressed with the PX8 S2; I tested both them and the PX7 S3 side by side and ended up going with the PX7 S3 instead. Very similar sound quality, but the PX8 S2 takes a major hit to ANC and transparency performance. I’ve actually discussed this on the B&W sub a few times. The PX8 S2 is

I think I know what OP‘s referring to. The PX8 have a rather intimate „dark“ sound signature which can easily make songs sound less existing and more closed in. They are indeed detailed sounding headphones and have an instinct clearness to them I can’t quite place but the bass bleeds too much into t

I really cannot understand the strategy from B&W regarding their releases. Now we are getting PX8 S2 and PX7 S3… why not PX9? Lack of innovation or technology to make a difference in the market compared to others? Waiting for the Sony XM6? … I have both PX7S2e and PX8, also Pi8, I would like to get

Device connectivity for Apple users is certainly better with APM. I bought the B&W Px8 S2 and have been A/B comparing the APMs.. if you have more than 2 Apple devices (apple TV, etc) just put on the APMs (or AirPods etc). with B&W you get last 2 connected so i have to manually connect often (but I h

I have both PX8 (Mclarens) and APM, but I find APM is far better. Specially when I listen to Dolby Atmos music. It suck on battery life but I got this charging case and it will keep APM charged up to 99% all the time. PX8 is the most comfortable, and with the battery life. And for me PX8 looks bette
