Nah, definitely not age – I’m 55+ and have tinnitus. AAC + Spotify is like a double strike. Apple Music with Apple Lossless enabled will help with playback quality and listening wired, lighting to 3.5mm TRS, with provide you the best sound quality at the expense of being tethered. I had a px7 s3 and recently got the px8s2. Comfort wise for me px8s2 is better, less clamping and more plush cushion. Px7 s3 was quite tight and I had to use a bookend to loosen it.
