Not happy with new update :/

I wouldn’t recommend installing the latest firmware update for the Bose SoundLink Max. I updated mine about a week ago and it has effectively removed a large part of the functionality that made me choose this speaker in the first place. The device now feels heavily simplified to the point where many

Advice needed

Bose doesn’t really make any speakers like this anymore. Unless you want to AUX a SoundLink Max for home use. But for about the same price you could do two Sonos Era 100’s (even less if you go for the Era 100 SL, which removes Google and Alexa functions but keeps Wi-Fi). Sonos is the last in the gam

Boom 2 Plus - Slight Disappointment So Far

Fair enough, I'm not directly comparing or expecting the Boom 2 Plus to outperform a Bose Soundlink Max, they are in two completely different leagues and price points. I mention Bose in my post because I currently have an older Soundlink (1st generation - probably 15 years old at this point), still

Has anyone used Snapcast as a Sonos replacement? Curious if people's experiences with this are generally positive.

I ended up getting the Bose SoundLink Max. It was unable to power a Pi 4 with decent audio quality, but I switched it out for a Pi Zero with the DAC+ Zero and the Bose is able to power it. Works and sounds great!

Bose QuietComfort 35

I’m wanting the QC Ultras myself. As Bose’s tuning is more neutral in the warm direction than most with emphasis on mids, no artificial treble boosts which only adds distortion, and well tuned bass. As human voices live in the mid ranges. I also have hyperacusis. V shaped tunings hurt my ears especi

What do we think of the SoundLink Flex (2nd Gen.)?

Amazing, warm and full bodied sound. This thing is a killer. I have used: Jbl Flip 2,4 / JBL Charge 3,4 / HK Aura Studio 3 / Soundcore Boom 2 / Marshall Stanmore 2, Middleton 1 / Bose Soundlink Max............alongside my Kef HiFi. So believe me when I say that this little guy is the best bang for b

Bose Soundlink Max bargain

I think I got the deal of the century on mine. I had a 6 year old Soundljnk mini 2 and the battery died in it. Bose offered me a trade in - my Soundlink mini and $59 for a new Soundlink Max. That was an instant yes from me.

Bose Soundlink Max Battery Drain

I may have found the cause of the battery drain some of us are experiencing with the Bose SoundLink Max. The speaker loses battery even when it's supposedly switched off. After sending my first unit in for repair, Bose replaced it—but the replacement had the exact same problem. Therefore, I suspecte
