Did you not use it for a while? The new bose speakers can go into a battery protection mode where you need to plug it into a high watt power brick for at least 5 hrs to get it working again It happened to my soundlink max and my soundlink plus but just leaving them plugged in overnight fixed it some

It's no secret that Bose's signature sound has a strong bass presence. Bose sells their speakers with their signature EQ.
