QuietComfort 35 II

Yup, mine are the Bose QC 35 II. They're a few years old, but they're what I already had and still work decently. I haven't noticed any of the terrible distortion that people are mentioning.

Ive had Bose quiet comfort 35 II for maybe five+ years now. The sound quality is amazing for music and FPS. Occasionally the muffs need replaced (maybe every two years or so), but overall, great headphones. Bluetooth and wired capabilities and the mic is built-in, so easy to just not use it.

I love my Loops, but their intent is still to allow some hearing. My Bose QC35 II are really good, eapecially with music or something playing. Both together go extra well. Joke's on me though: tinnitus means my world is never fully silent.

If you don't really need ANC I can pretty highly recommend the Bowers. Sennheiser Momentum 4 I wanted to like them but across 3 different pairs I found that all of them had really shallow cups so they didn't end up being very comfortable for me. My Bose QC35 II from 2017 are still going strong, had to replace ear cups, though I use several other headphones now, these still don’t skip a beat and have great battery life too.

I never updated the firmware of my QC 35 II and they still work great! I think there was also an update back then that made the sound and ANC crappy... Planned obsolescence. Shame on Bose.

I recently replaced my Bose QC35 II with the Sennheiser Momentum 4. They're not as comfortable as Bose, but good enough, and much better sounding (especially after customizing their sound to my liking via the mobile app). Nothing beats the comfort of open-back headphones though. I can recommend Senn
