The only one I would say to avoid is the nook. The software has always been mediocre. I chose to go with a Kobo libra colour after watching reviews. Waiting for it to arrive now. I personnaly love the infinite (vertical only) scroll. Like this I can use pages as a topic separator and I can accumulate data on the same page.
