Will Note Max get another update?

Works great? Wow. Here are just a few of the bugs I run into constantly: Worst ghosting I have ever had on an e-ink device (and I have a few). Every page of a document or notebook requires as full refresh (swipe) unless you are ok with all the remnants of the previous screen. This was made even wors

Need opinions on why I should choose the reMarkable Paper Pro over the Supernote Manta

Ghosting is when you can still see previous writing when you flip the page and you have to refresh the screen. SN has dedicated refresh strips on the L&R sides of the screen, though I never had a problem with it. I've not had any ghosting on the RM's. But that BOOX? Even with the manual refresh (and

BOOX Firmware V4.2 is here! Community-driven updates and a new thread for feedback.

It just doesn't always clear when you open something else or turn a page. Granted it is a bit improved over what it was like in the initial release. I always have the navigation bar at the bottom now so I can do a quick refresh. It's mildly annoying but not enough for me to give up on it. I wish the

Let's Talk About "EinkWise" – We Need Your Feedback!

My Go6 just updated this week and I hate it. I have fewer refresh modes to choose from and the ghosting on "regal" (lowest option from what I can tell) is insane after one page turn. I have loved my Boox for almost 2 years but this "update" is making it nearly unusable.

I've built a "Zero-AI" writing app for e-ink tablets (Boox/Supernote) because I was tired of laggy Android apps. Need 20 novelists to help me test.

Interesting. I wouldn't have expected the cursor to be such a challenge. I ended so frustrated with all the apps I tried that I bought an app to let me use my Page as an AirPlay display for my MacBook. Took quite a bit of tweaking with the resolution settings and Scrivener settings and even the Boox

Destination Synced Notes in Onenote

I use the built-in OneNote app quite a bit too. There is more lag in handwriting than in the native apps. And the built-in voice recorder times out after a few minutes, whereas the desktop onenote will run forever. On older Boox devices, I would need to disable the touch mode (which is different tha

Any updates on Bluetooth official support?

As miniscule as it may be, I'm another - I used my previous Boox Note Pro to read sheet music and a bluetooth page turner is a must. Really hoped I could use the larger screen of the RMPP to do the same, but unfortunately not... To add insult to injury, the page-turn gesture is so inconsistent, it's

Adobe Digital Editions gone?

In all honesty, I de-DRM my Libby books and read them on my Kindle as I just can’t get to grips with the Libby app on my Boox. I’ve tried all sorts of settings but somehow everything I’ve tried to get rid of the page turn animation just bugs me, and I haven’t been able to find a font choice there th

Enjoying the Palma 2 Pro as a reader

Ugh that hasn't worked well for me, it gets bad again after a few page turns...so I just bought a Viwoods AI Reader which is the same size and lighter weight. There is minor ghosting but not nearly as bad as compared to my Palma. I hope Boox sends updates soon.

Looking for the best PhD-friendly e-ink / digital notebook

I can recommend you one but it is suitable only up to masters degree. Joke aside: I went through your requirements and most if not all would meet those requirements. I used e-ink (Boox Onyx). The important drawback for me (and I believe for you as well) is the page changing speed or moving from one
