The frustration is very real. This is why I have bought a new eink tablet seemingly every 8 months (Note air2+, tab c, remarkable paper pro, A6X2). I agree that software on the paper pro is frustrating. It also isn't as good for organization as it's competitors (supernote is the best in my opinion).

Boox never responded to my query, and after 10 more attempts to connect, I’ve given up. I’ll see how useful the tablet is without an Onyx account. I may give up on it altogether, not because of the tablet but because of the lack of support.
