Will Note Max get another update?
Works great? Wow. Here are just a few of the bugs I run into constantly: Worst ghosting I have ever had on an e-ink device (and I have a few). Every page of a document or notebook requires as full refresh (swipe) unless you are ok with all the remnants of the previous screen. This was made even wors

Can y'all help me understand some of the different technologies used in different Boox tablets?
Is "InkSense Plus" really worse than EMR? there is no straight answer to this because USI accuracy depends on a combination of screen tech and pen. the InkSense Plus pen is capable of accuracy on par with EMR -- better than reMarkable's USI anyway which nearly everyone accepts as being functionally

I'm thorn between these 2
The frustration is very real. This is why I have bought a new eink tablet seemingly every 8 months (Note air2+, tab c, remarkable paper pro, A6X2). I agree that software on the paper pro is frustrating. It also isn't as good for organization as it's competitors (supernote is the best in my opinion).

RM2 or Supernote Manta; Already Own a Supernote Nomad

Advice on laying off the phone
Kobo Libra color has pen/note taking support. Onyx Boox also has very good note support. Boox is android based, but so few apps actually do well on eink that I wouldn’t worry about it being like your phone. Eink is really only good for reading and notating, I’ve tried apps like Reddit or Bluesky but

Looking for e-reader with PDF readability
I’ve searched high and low for a device that handles pdfs well, and finally came to the conclusion after trying many options, the best PDF/note system is an iPad and the Goodreader app. The second best was the Onyx Boox Note Air Plus 2. Though I’m pretty sure there are newer models. I just sold this

Clarification: The 4.0 update that many Reddit users are currently using for their NA2 / NA2+ is NOT the final release but very much a beta
Im or WAS a happy user of note air 2 plus but after updated to 4.0 from 3.5.4 using this device is a disaster. Battery runs out on my eyes. Flashing everywhere (full refresh using notes app). Shapes using AI is messy (when drawing a square I get a circle... what is going on?). When I upload my file

When loading canvas from pdf I get cut out image and even boox dont know how to fix it. 3. Many blinking using note app (note air2 plus) with normal refresh ra
