Note Air 5 C

I swapped to an Onyx Boox from Kindle so i could take notes (school + work + old) and omg I audibly gasped when I saw both the power button AND charging port on the side so you could rest it upright while charging... never going back!

I switched to boox air5c 2 weeks ago (from 2024 scribe). For me it’s an eye opener. Notes taking is completely different. It’s like unlocking a demo version to a full fleshed version. I have a Note Air 4c. I work in a tech retail store and we have the Remarkables on display - having tested both I can't say I felt that the texture of the screen on the Remarkable was any better than on the Boox which has a pre-applied matte screen layer (which I believe is true for the 5c as well).

I got enough shit in my life I have to charge. I don't wanna charge another pen. It's not a solution for me. My kobo libra colour has a pen that I have to charge. Given I rarely use it ok. I had a Scribe before and now have an Air 5C. The Boox is miles ahead of the Scribe, like it's not even fair. The note taking and annotations capabilities of the Scribe felt like an after thought. Also, the writing feel on par if not better on the Boox.
