Note Air 4C

You could look into the Boox Air 4C and 5C. Make sure to look up reviews because Boox devices can have quirks and you cannot expect updates. In general I would recommend going with a 10 inch screen or larger for those types of books.

Supernote Manta or Boox Note Air 4C are your top options for this list. Boox is getting better at organization but Supernote is still king. Boox is going to be the more flexible device though. I would not worry about "distractions," most things that qualify are simply bad experiences on e-ink.

I can't answer to all of that, but I would say there is definitely downsides to having a color boox.Compared to the B&W, it's noticably darker, like it's covered in shadow. I have a go7 color and a leaf2 B&W. The Leaf2 is old and very slow, yet I use that still for reading sessions because it's simp
