Note Air 4C

Iİ own an onyx boox note air4c. I carry it with a cover put in a protective zipped case. Double protection. Seems bulky but the best way to save them. These are expensive and fragile devices.

They're great e-readers, but it looks like you want a device more for note-taking with the added benefit of being an ereader. I don't have the XP Pen, but I have the Ugee Trio Pad (it's a rebranded TCL NxtPaper 14). It uses the NxtPaper screen tech which is a matte screen coating partnered with some different screen modes--one that reduces color saturation ala color e-ink and another that mimics black and white e-ink.
