I just received my Book 7 gen 2 and it has a horrible ghosting

Definitely mess around with the settings. It takes a bit to figure out for sure. Each app is different, and it really depends on what you're doing. Scrolling is harder on it. I can share the settings I have going for a few apps if that helps. I have the Boox Go Color 7 Gen 2.

I treat my boox poorly and it works. For many years.

Doesn't seem worth the risk to be cavalier about the Boox. It's not like there is a version of Apple Care for it and I can ger it fixed or replaced easily. I'd be an idiot if I treated my Go Color 7 gen 2 that same way. My Kindle is durable enough, but not the Boox.

are boox e-readers durable and of good build-quality?

I have had several kindles that have lasted me a long time. I also had them in pretty good cases. I recently decided to try to move away from Amazon and bought a Boox Color go 7 gen 2. I would recommend not buying directly from them as mine arrived with some issues and am having to fight with them t

Does anybody own both a Kobo Libra Colour and a Bigme B7 ? How is the display difference ?

No they cannot. They share the same kaleido tech but for example whatever you do on a Boox go Color 7 gen 2 there is no way at all to get the reds as good as on the Libra. Ant the light system is very different, not the same leds, not the same diffusing films too. On the Boox and the Bigme B751c, th

Alternative replacement tips for boox ink sense plus pen?

Thank you. Yes, I understand that frustration with consumable and accessories. These makes buying a boox product difficult as I prefer reliable and sustainable solutions. For me the Boox Go color 7 gen II and the Tab X C should have EMR pens for example. I am put off considering these products for e

Boox Go Color 7? Kobo Libra Color? Kobo Clara Color?

KLC has much better colors and contrasts. It's the same tech (Kaleido 3) and colors aren't great anyway but it's clearly less bad on the KLC which has better reds and a much better integrated light which doesn't wash out the display too much. I replaced the Boox Go Color 7 gen 2 by a new KLC refresh

I wanted to like the Pocketbook Era

Right handed : boox and Kobo have the same issue. It's easy to adapt however. Reactivity : this is the usual issue with PocketBoox devices, it's always very slow. The zoom function is unuseable for example. Colors : even if the Kaleido tech produce muted colors, some devices are better than others a
