Any tips for Textbooks and Scientific Papers?

Honestly, this is probably not the device for image-heavy PDF files, in my opinion. You may be better served with a larger e-ink device. I have used some of the larger color e-ink devices from Onyx Boox for this purpose. They are not cheap, but provide a much nicer experience.

Boox go 6 or go 7. Also, have very very low expectations for color devices. Marketing photos of them are ridiculous… They make the color look more vibrant than it is IRL, and they artificially lighten the screen’s background making it appear more like a book instead of a very very dark gray.
