BOOX Go 6 Gen 2 or Go Color 7 Gen 1?
I'd go with G6G2 over the GC7G1. I have the Boox go color 7 gen 2, and being able to add a stylus is really nice. With what you're wanting to do I'd say the Gen 2 of the 6 fits your needs. The black and white ereaders have crisper text, and if you're not needing color I'd opt for that. Here's a comp

Best e-readers for broad app capability?
I’ve looked at the Boox ereaders and I think Bigme and Pocketbook? Most PocketBooks (anything under 10’’) are not Android, just so you know - they do allow more file formats (including Adobe DRM and Readium LCP protected) and integrate with more library systems especially in Europe (Libby but also e

BOOX Go 6 Gen 2 or Go Color 7 Gen 1?
I bought a bnew BOOX Go 6 Gen II and a second hand Go Color 7 Gen II the same weekend, i put the GC7 II up for sale 2 weeks later. I really liked seeing the colored covers too but I also liked my text to be really black and I can't get that on color eink I also liked reading on the Go 6 (both 1st an

Need E-reader recommendations!!
the only ones that fit your description are the Boox Go 6 Gen II and the Bigme B6. I am very reluctant to recommend Bigme to anyone because of the poor quality of their software engineering, and the Go 6 II has excellent handwriting support in addition to being cheap and having a clear, nearly ghost

My first e-reader help
agree with most of this although the Bigme B7 Pro is the best one to get right now imo if you want good pen support. the best small reader with pen support right now, if you're optimizing for quality of pen output, is by far the Boox Go 6 Gen II though. no color version of that, at least not yet. if

Help me choose my ereader
I have the boox go 6 gen ii - I love it! It feels less sturdy then my kindle basic, not gonna lie to you there. It feels thinner and lighter. The screen is flush and I enjoy all the customizations, including the e ink settings for each app and the light settings. I charge mine every other day, but I

Should I just read on a tablet?
I was in the same boat as you, I used to read on my iPad a lot but it was just too heavy for me to carry around all the time. I got the boox go 6 (gen ii), and love it! It gets bright and is crispy (for e ink) and I can access any app that Android has since it's technically a tablet, so I can browse

Need recommendations to buy my first e ink reader
I think for a first e-reader, the Boox Go 6 Gen II will be a good foray into the e-ink world. It’s pretty affordable and satisfy your needs: microSD card, open ecosystem, decent battery life for an Android ereader, USB-C, sharp BW display - you can tinker with the e-ink settings per app, good note t

If you switched from bw to color, why? (Having second thoughts with the boox go 7 bw)
I have a color Bigme monitor and a b&w Boox Tab X. Having had and used both for about a year now, I deliberately chose b&w (a Go 6 Gen II) for my next eink device and am waiting for it to arrive.

Onyx boox Go 7 vs kon tiki 5 for books and manga
I read mostly manga! I went from reading on an iPad mini to a boox go 6 (gen ii) for portability. On the Go 6 i find most manga is totally fine on that screen, but i do have to zoom into don't ring that has a ton of text (think new chapters of HxH), but i think the Go 7 for your purposes would be to
