I already had the bodum bistro burr grinder which I acknowledge is on the cheaper side for this subreddit but I couldn’t justify getting a more expensive one without trying out what I already have. Unless I start having problems I don’t think I will get a new one

I’m gonna say realistically any grinder around $100 will get the job done. You’re going to get boulders and size inconsistencies and they will clog regularly, but I used a Bodum Bistro for years even for my chemex.

This was more a gift, but for the longest time I was using a manual burr coffee grinder. Recently my partner got me an electric burr grinder (Bodum Bistro) that easily changes the coarseness. I love this thing so much Other one is my headphone amp (JDS Atom). I’ve had it since about 2018/19

If you like what you make now, no need to upgrade. A burr grinder can definitely improve the consistency of what you make, though. The Bodum Bistro is a good one you can often find on sale at reasonable prices.

Good news! If you like the Hario Skerton, you will be ecstatic about any other grinder. Just get anything. You have to dish up on what kind of coffee you like, what brewing method you employ, for a proper recommendation, though it doesn't matter very much at your budget. I will add the Bodum Bistro
