I love the Bobbi Brown crushed lip color in ruby. I’m fair with very pink-toned skin, and it’s nice and cool on me. It’s great to dab on with your finger, or dab straight from the tube for a diffused smudgy look. It's similar to the results I’ve seen for the Violette-Fr balms.

Thank you for this! I am also mourning the loss of the OG Dolce Vita lipstick. After many tests in Ulta, I bought the Bobbi Brown crushed lip color in Italian Rosewood and find the color very, very close. No shimmer and very comfortable to wear.

I think you might like the Bobbi Brown Crushed Lip Color Moisturizing Lipstick in the shade Brownie. It looks more sheer than the Tarte formula but it’s satin finish and not a gloss.
