Can I get in bother if I feed a hungry child?
If your kid just happens to have extra food and they make their own decision to share with another child when you're not looking, are you even feeding the kid?? Or is your kid just sharing with her friends?? Social services and police are pretty useless, try NSPCC. Otherwise you need to start workin

Wired Doorbell
I'm moving to TP-LINK / Tapo. With what I've spent on Blink, I could have done the whole neighborhood.Right now my Gen 1 & 2 Doorbells aren't working well. All the cameras, when first installed work pretty good. After a while garbage. I've replaced the batteries with Power Supplies made for Blink an

Backhanded Subscription
You need to bear in mind that the subscription device can also fail eg a Nest camera or a Blink doorbell. If the device was free and the subscription covered everything, it would be an option but it doesn't. You get both costs. FWIW I have a bunch of eufy stuff growing over the past six years and no

Planning to install a full Blink outdoor system
I've had a blink doorbell for over a year. Liked it asit does the basics I need with no subscription....but then it stopped recording. Many people have had their systems broken since the end of may with no resolution. Some have been able to reset or whatever to get it going again but many of us have

Cancelled subscription - now awful?
I wanna add to this. I pay for extremely fast internet and it’s never slow. When I too had a subscription, loading the live view was incredibly fast. I also did the same thing recently and went to local storage and canceled the subscription, and it takes a minute 30 to load live view. When someone r

Purchased Doorbell and surprised by quality. What camera would you recommend for home security?
I got a pair of C217 360° and the basic model beats the pogees out of the Blinks I have at a fraction of the price. And none of the Amazon BS. So all the Blinks are going up for sale so I can buy more Tapo. I don't like the doorbell. Gonna go UniFi on that.

Blink Doorbell 2K+ Preorders!
The doorbell pricing structure is so odd though. In the UK the brand new gen 1 is £44.99, the gen 2 is £35.99 and the gen 3 is £35.99. I’d have thought they’d have managed to get rid of the gen 1 stock a very long time ago but it’s still available from blink brand new.

Ring doorbell alternatives without monthly fee?
I have a Reolink PoE doorbell and it's a massive upgrade over the blink it replaced. Just a single cable through the wall for power and data, it's constantly powered so no batteries to replace and being hardwired to the network (not WiFi) there is very little delay. I have a micro SD card in the doo

AI Plus Trial
It’s not offered in the UK yet but it does seem pretty expensive. I understand that the pricing for the AI stuff and video previews in notifications are also on Ring for a similar price. It just seems a bit expensive for Blink being a budget brand. Mind you, I’ve never run a doorbell AI data centre
