FYI: Ring has partnered with Flock. Ice has access to flock. We are under mass surveillance.
Ring is owned by amazon, also Blink is owned by amazon, if they are sharing ring doorbell footage then they sure as hell are sharing blink doorbell footage aswell

Can I get in bother if I feed a hungry child?
If your kid just happens to have extra food and they make their own decision to share with another child when you're not looking, are you even feeding the kid?? Or is your kid just sharing with her friends?? Social services and police are pretty useless, try NSPCC. Otherwise you need to start workin

My neighbor has been leaving notes on my door for 6 months about my "aggressive dog." My dog died 8 months ago.
Well damn I wish I'd heard about this before I got my blink doorbell. Google says they're a part of Anker, which is a brand I really like too. The blink subscription is $15/month and I'm not really impressed with the camera or sound quality.

Need serious insight
100% agree …..I’m the type that wants proof if you tell me something (yes I’m overly suspicious of people), so better to have a ring/blink camera. Like someone said below if a neighbor is vandalizing your peephole you will have proof if they try to do same to the doorbell camera. My neighbor had his

Someone just tried to get into my apartment
My apartment is on the second floor, and is an external door. My plan is to go to the front office once it opens to see if the have any security cameras that might have caught it, which hopefully is the case. I have a blink doorbell camera, but the battery ran out a few days ago so it unfortunately

Officially Done with Arlo
I took down all of my Arlo equipment, which was 10 cameras and three hubs. I was having horrible problems with the software not recognizing that the three hubs are in different locations, so I could no longer arm/disarm each system separately, which was a deal breaker for me. I went all in on Blink,

Tweaker neighbors
The only thing that worked for me with the tweaker next door was putting up cameras everywhere. The alley? Yep. Both directions. The backyard? Two more, one records continuous onto an sd card. The front? Doorbell and blink camera. The alley cameras are literally the only reason the losers stopped us

New cameras
Your existing doorbell wiring doesn't power the Blink doorbell camera in any way whatsoever. I've had batteries that lasted well over 2 years with the 1st gen doorbell and it's been so far, so good with the 2nd gen. And that's with using both with a sync module. My advice is to not try to use the do

Amazingly... odd
My blink doorbell and cameras send me "videos" like this sometimes. Just a few still frames that are spaced out over a long time, sometimes hours. Blink is exceptionally buggy when it comes to the automated recording.

What’s a product where the cheap knock-off version is somehow unironically better than the expensive original?
TP-link's Kasa/Tapo system is good too. Doesn't require a subscription (but has the option for it) and allows local recording to an sd card for cams/doorbells. I scrapped my blink system and switched to TP-link. So much better. (And amazon isn't watching me...as much)
