What is the best dash cam for my 4th generation Mazda 3 Sedan?
Rather than supporting Amazon's evil ways and potentially getting a counterfeit product, I recommend supporting a smaller retailer that's going to offer you a decent price, actual support, and knowledgeable reviews. I usually order from https://www.blackboxmycar.com/ and have been very happy with th

FitcamX for Audi - Install and Review
I was strongly considering one of these but my wife knew I was looking at dashcams and without knowing what model I was looking at, she bought me a BlackVue dr970x 2Ch for my ‘24 S4. It’s a nice cam, obviously not very discrete and I have the same exact issue connecting to it. I’ll try disabling the

Beware the red van
It's a very reliable dashcam - at least in my experience; it's still the recommended option on r/Dashcams, but here are some more choices: Best cam recommendations Best Value (Solo Cam): Viofo A119 Mini 2 ($86-130 USD) Viofo A129 Plus ($112-140 USD) - Similar to A119v3, but 60fps Thinkware F70 Pro (

How to hardwire dash cam on a 2020 Mazda CX-5 without loose fuse taps
I installed a BlackVue DR970X-2CH Plus in my 2021 CX-5 Signature earlier this year. While the vehicles uses low profile mini fuses, I had found multiple references saying that the low profile mini fuse taps wouldn't sit snugly because of some kind of tab in the fuse block. They recommended using a s

Choosing a Dash Cam 101: A Helpful Guide
Both the Thinkware U3000 and BlackVue DR970X-2CH PLUS II are excellent choices, but they cater to slightly different needs. The Thinkware U3000 features 4K UHD recording with advanced Sony STARVIS 2 technology, which enhances low-light performance and clarity. It also includes built-in radar sensors

Any recommendations on my first dashcam? I’d love for it to have 360 (all sides) and basically constantly record, especially when parked. Parking it and leaving it near or in the city is scary so I’m willing to pay any price to feel secure. Thank you!
It's fantastic that you're prioritizing safety with a dash cam! For your needs, a 360-degree dash cam that offers constant recording, especially while parked, would be an excellent choice. Here are some recommendations: VIOFO A229 Pro 4K UHD 3-Channel Dash Cam: This model features front, rear, and i

Best Front/Rear Dash Cam?
Big fan of BlackVue DR970X-2CH Plus 64GB | 2-Channel Dash Cam (4K-Full HD), ~$380 on Amazon USA. Paired with j28 / blendmount mirror mount. Also jerry rigged a mount for my uniden r8 radar with blendmount mirror tap. Very clean setup everything tucked away. Dash cam is setup with a 1tb sd card. Vide

Recommend me dashcams please
BlackVue DR970X-2CH 64GB IR Plus 4K UHD Cloud This is a good starting place. Thinkware U3000 with the THINKWARE LTE Module for Connected Cloud Connectivity for U3000 PRO would be another good option when paired with a couple of PowerCell 8 LiFePO4 Bluetooth Dash Cam Battery Pack

Blackvue vs Viofo
Probably the absolute best right now is the Blackvue DR970X-2CH. It is 4K front, 1080p rear, 60fps front, 30fps rear, built-in GPS and Wi-Fi, cloud storage with LTE and it's the newest model with best image quality. Alternatively, the Viofo A229 Pro has all those features except for LTE connectivity
