This is more of an aesthetics & functionality answer than a best-business-practices one (though I would also like to see more companies with Fairphone-esc business practices of course), but I've been really fixated on this same question lately and this is the answer I've been gravitating toward: Har

There's been a massive improvement on the best devices in recent years via the refresh software. Bigme's is now brilliant and Boox's ok. Much smoother and faster with less ghosting during use on their premium devices. Which has in turn opened up other areas for eink like being able to use apps never

No, without front light. I mean temperature of white wihtout front light. I dont know what other people complain about. I received a few system updates through the few months and I use it as daily phone. I had more issues with Google pixel 8 pro than Bigme Hi Break Pro. I have enough common sense to

I also have ADHD. I use at work the Bigme Wink color B251 25.3 inchs monitor -- big difference for my eyes!! I also love this Bigme Hi Break color, the refresh rate is not so bad.

Hey! I looked into your idea and the best match is the Bigme HiBreak Pro (Color) — it’s a colour e-ink phone that runs Android, so you can scroll through inspiration photos and use a gallery app without losing that minimalist, designy look. The black-and-white HiBreak Pro is even smoother if you don

SE2022 brainfog? I can only use it for short periods. What's alright for me is HTC M8, which is a really old LCD which regretfully no longer works. I wish they made displays like that again. And my BigMe HiBreak Pro works fine for not getting symptoms, but it's eink so ain't snappy and fast.

I use the Bigme HiBreak Pro as my daily driver. I used the black and white version for 6 months and upgraded to the color version in December. Sure, it's slower than an iPhone, it has little glitches here and there which are annoying, but overall, it works perfectly fine. I do everything on it, soci

Regarding Kindle books, I use a Kindle and Bigme HiBreak Pro (my smartphone as well). The android kindle app isn't as optimized as the kindle device is, page turning is slower and not optimized for eInk, that being said it's still usable. Every android app is different though, no reason why you coul

Luckily we have BigMe HiBreak Pro as a decent performing smartphone with an e-ink screen (as long as you are ok with B/W display; which is actually better than Kaleido colour if you want to keep the light low/off).
