What is so bad about Boox ereaders?
My experiences with Boox: Poke 4s: it's a 2nd hand. I had it returned (to the shop that sold it as a trade in for the next Boox) because the battery is simply too bad. Last maybe 2 days max. Because of the only very short time with it, nothing about its real merit can be said. Brand new Boox Tab Ult

Best budget (least expensive) color E-reader that uses an E-ink display?
Honestly, you just think you want to read comics on e-ink. Realistically, it's not really there yet. and a 6" or 7" reader is just too small, you would want an 8' color tablet at a minimum, in my opinion. Some will say a 7" reader is good enough, but it seems tiny to me. A tablet is still the best f

Is light bleed in an ereader frontlight harmful to the eyes in the long term?
I will put my two cents in and say that I decided on returning a Bigme B6 partially because there was light bleed around every edge. It didn't hurt my eyes, but it was pretty annoying and a constant reminder of the dimness that the color layer adds. In so many words, I'd only consider it a problem i

I wish 6 inch ereaders were more popular!
After using the Bigme B6 I know my ideal reader is 6" black and white, recessed screen, with full android play store enabled. Holding out for something new that meets those needs.

Musnap Neo C impressions - 24 hours later
Does it suffer from color banding at all? Was considering the Bigme B6 but after seeing a post about how bad its color banding is I've been looking for another option.

BOOX vs Kindle vs Kobo — What’s the best affordable e-reader in 2026? Worth it or overkill?
I got the BigMe B6 Colour. Don’t like the way the screen looks washed out. Battery life is also not good. So that has kind of put me off android e-readers Got myself the Kobo Clara BW. I think that’s just about the right size for reading books and BW screens are so much better for reading Also for X

Is bigme b6 bad as everyone says it is
I don't have the B6, but I do have other Bigme devices (Hibreak Pro, B751C, B751, B7, B7 Pro). Here's my take on it: The hardware and firmware are excellent, but the user software isn't. However, there's the Google Play Store, which offers apps that are far better than anything the various manufactu
