Yet another thread asking for opinions on the MMX 230
I refunded mine a few weeks after I got them and got a pair of MMX 300 Pro. Very comfortable to wear, decent sound quality, mic quality is "okay". Whats the pick?
The old 300 2gen ist closer in tuning to the original DT770 250ohm with the classic driver tech. The newer pro models use the new stellar driver that are easier to drive but imo sound very congested and grainy from mids to highs. The 300 pro also has a higher peak at 6k which is very piercing imo. T

Beyerdynamic hat auch das MMX 300 (Pro), was auf DT770 basieren soll. Allerdings habe ich mich nicht wirklich damit beschäftigt. Ist schon deutlich teurer für das Mikro, das ist unumgänglich.

Just released my beyerdynamic MMX 300 Pro Review!
I ended picking up the MMX 300 pros. They’re nice, but I’m not exactly blown away. The mic is clear but I get a lot of complaints about coming in very soft, but I’m honestly not sure if that’s a discord problem with their sound suppression or something else. I also had a piece crack for the sliders
