That's a god damn shame. Beyerdynamics has been my headphone brand of choice for 2 decades. I love their house sound. From DT990 to DT1990 Pro and T1. I keep returning to my DT1990 even after double the cost Focals. I guess it's time to give Focals and other brands a spin again after my already +7 y

Pourquoi 'gaming'?

BeyerDynamic DT 770/880/990 depending if you want closed, half-open or open. Best there is without spending a fortune. Once you touch proper headphones you'll laugh at how awful "good" brands like HyperX or Astro sound.

These are definitely meant for studio use and are not convenient f

Beyerdynamic no questions. Asus CS and Hifiman QC you don’t want to deal with. Beyer will always have parts. Z reviews said the 330 Pro is one of the best headphones period even though it’s marketed as a gaming headset.

You just wear headphones over your HAs. I’ve tried this and found that it’s not very comfortable depending on the headphones. The Beyerdynamic ones mentioned above are good though as they have large ear cups. I’ve also had good luck with Hifiman and Sennheiser headphones.

I was told the same for my Beyerdynamic DT990 250ohms, but they honestly sounded fine without an amp before I got one. I'm sure any pair of IEMs can be driven on any PC.
