German professional audio brand Beyerdynamic to be bought by chinese company Cosonic Intelligent
That's a god damn shame. Beyerdynamics has been my headphone brand of choice for 2 decades. I love their house sound. From DT990 to DT1990 Pro and T1. I keep returning to my DT1990 even after double the cost Focals. I guess it's time to give Focals and other brands a spin again after my already +7 y

Which luxury brand is basically just overpriced junk with good marketing?
Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro. They are probably one of the best pair of headphones for the price (roughly 150 bucks). You have probably seen them in videos of radio stations, podcasts, recording studios - they are everywhere. Best thing about them - you can get the whole damn thing in spare parts - down

Headphones
I use the Beyerdynamic DT 1990 Pro (first gen) and I am insanely happy with them. Even before I had them, I used to EQ my Audio-Technica GDL3 to a certain sound. When I decided to upgrade to the 1990s, I was extremely suprised that they sound out of the box like my previous tuning on the Audio-Techn

Why many people shill more expensive DAC the higher the IEM cost is?
I couldn't tell apart my Sony Xperia 5III, iPod classic 7th gen, Fiio m3k, HiFi Walker H2, Beyerdynamic Pro X USB-C Cable/DAC, my pc, my HiFi receiver (Onkyo TX 8020) playing the same audio (flac) except my phone and pc have more output power than my iPod, and my HiFi receiver got even more output p

Headphone Recommendations - dual use for Bitwig and DJ mixing
the requirements for production and DJing are really quite different. Production wise you really benefit from neutrality, a complete lack of colour so you can hear exactly what youre producing. DJing, I tend to like either bass heavy so I can accurately hear and match beats or treble heavy so I can

Got new earbuds for Christmas and I’m ascending listening to Respite On The Spiritfields
Listening on a pair of Beyerdynamic DT 1990 PRO is like being in the studio. I heard details I never noticed. Great headphones matter.

I 100% stand behind every word he says, the Sony MDR-MV1 truly are endgame under 1,000$
Also, here is a graph comparison between what I think is the second best Dynamic Driver open back headphone, the 700$ Beyerdynamic Dt 1990 Pro 250 Ohm. The high’s and mids on the headphones aswell as the overall tonality of them are almost identical. The difference is that the 400$ Sony MDR-MV1 has

Headphones for classical music under €500
It all depends on what you're plugging it into. If you've got a dedicated dac/amp etc. etc. then the ones you have suggested are a good shout. However for a sort of plug into anything solution I've always thought the Sony flagship mode whxxxxx whatever they're called are very excellent. You can cont

Creative Sound Blaster AE-7 vs Creative Sound BlasterX AE-5 Plus SABRE32
You know that the soundcard is just one part? You're going to need a fitting highend sound equipment for getting something in your ears, too. Otherwise it would be like driving a Porsche with a 43PS motor out of a VW Beetle. eg I've the AE-9 and via optical a Denon DAB receiver with two Dali Zensor
