I have both the 770 pro 80 ohm and 770 Pro X and while I do like the Pro X better, I don't know that I would consider it really an upgrade soundwise. Don't buy 'gaming' headphones. you won't like it, but this is the true fix. I never looked back after going Beyerdynamics DT1990 Pro MKII and have had no issues for over a year now.
