What do we think about this?

I couldn't afford the XL2586X+ but I hope they release a panel of similar colors as you say.. When I bought the XL2566X+ I expected TN color but can compete similar high refresh rate budget IPS displays and it def hit that expectation. I've been enjoying the panel

Is the Xl2546X+ (280 hz, DyAc 2) noticeably smoother than WOLED 240 hz for Overwatch?

XL2586x+ user here and DYAC2 eliminates pretty much all perceivable motion blur. The differences in monitor latency are imperceivable to a human since it’s less than 1ms. While a good OLED is insanely fast and pretty much doesn’t have motion blur the human eye still perceives blur because of the fin

Zowie TN (360/540Hz) vs 500Hz OLED

Hm, i haven’t used the xl2586x+, but i did feel the same about the early xl2586x. To my understanding this was adjusted though, and i actually appreciate a good anti-glare coating cause i play in a well lit room most of the time. But yeah i heard the coating was a dealbreaker to some, so that’s some

Is upgrading from XL2546K (240Hz) to XL2566X or XL2586X worth it if I already get 700+ FPS?

If you can lock the in game fps to 600 you're in for a treat on the xl2586x+ which I actually have. I play competitive Fortnite and you literally need a 5090 to get 600 fps on performance mode which is unfortunate but upgrading from an AOC C27G2Z which is already 240hZ it's perceptibly smoother and.

Cant decide on zowie or oled

Have both the XL2586X+ and a 1440p 480hz lg oled. I got the oled first a while back and if i had to pick one, id honestly go with oled. Although it will depend heavily on your use case. For me, i sometimes sit in bios for hours (still image/borders). I also dont mind the somewhat washed lcd colours

I game on a PS5, which one of these is better?

Depends, curved is completely fine as long as it's more casual as what you seem to be describing. For high rank competition (240+ FPS, etc.) it may or may not be a drawback on accuracy. Think of actual e-sports players: Flat panel 24.1'/24' monitors such as the Zowie XL2586X+, that's basically the s

ASUS ROG Swift 360 Hz PG27AQN vs Gigabyte MO27Q28G

Well, OLEDs are meant to make things darker on purpose. They have "true blacks" whereas with IPS and TN don't. I wouldn't play in HDR if you're concerned with seeing enemies. Honestly, you might want to check out a BenQ ZOWIE XL2586X+ or other "esports" TN models.

Is upgrading from XL2546K (240Hz) to XL2566X or XL2586X worth it if I already get 700+ FPS?

Thanks for the detailed info! Just to summarize what I’m hearing: • The XL2586X+ really shines if you can keep your FPS locked around 600+, which I actually can (~750 FPS). • The upgrade from 240 Hz to 400/540 Hz is visibly smoother, especially in competitive shooters, and things like tracking spray
