What are the worst products that you bought in 2025?
That stupid fucking bounce mascara from benefit. Literally back to back to back amazing mascara releases (they’re real, roller lash, badgal bang) then this dry, flaky nightmare that if I apply at 10:43 covers my under eyes in dried product by 11:00am sharp. To hell.

I would say any high end mascara. Mascara just doesn't last long enough to justify spending extra on it, especially when many drugstore brands are basically the same quality now. I switched from benefit roller lash to the elf dupe and it made me realize how much of a rip off mascara is

Which mascara should I buy?
Benefit roller lash is my ride or die. ive used it for nearly a decade. It’s specifically designed to prevent this issue and i have never had a problem with my lashes falling. I only started using a curler a few days ago. Its not really necessary with this product.

K18 and Olaplex hair care. Benefit Roller Lash is the best mascara I have ever used, been using it for years as well as the Stila felt tip eyeliner.

Mascara that doesn’t flake off!!
I like Benefit Roller Lash. Been a fave for years now, even after trying a bunch of others. I also find that my mascara wears better if I use a primer on my eyelid, I think maybe to block sweat/oil? I don't know but it helps.

Okay, I have a silly question that's plagued me for years: how do I prevent this smudge from appearing every time I wear mascara?
Omg. I changed loyalty from years of loving Roller Lash from Benefit to this tubing mascara because I was starting to get smudging under my eyes similar to OP (change in body chemistry?) It is a magnificent mascara—no smudging and the finished look is quite nice. It doesn’t budge until I take it off
