We have a fancy Baratza Sette 30 Conical Burr Grinder. It's got a hopper and a timer and the idea is you set the timer to get the amount of coffee you want. That works great for a few days and then clogs up. What works much better is to only put one dose of beans in the hopper and run the thing dry

Jumping in here. Buy a good burr grinder. Baratza Sette 30 is not expensive, and will do the job. Do you have a scale/timer? Set it to weigh/time your shot. Buy good beans, roasted for you, let sit ten days, then they will be ready. So the rule of thumb is: coffee out between 8-12 seconds, finish by
