Home espresso machine recommendations [$900]
for the price of the Breville Smart Grinder Pro, there are so many better options. hell, breville owns baratza, and the encore esp is the same price. and if you're single dosing, the df54 is only a little bit more expensive. bambino is a good option though. one of the best bang for buck at that pric

Bambino Plus found, now need grinder [$500]
I can't recommend something in the Eureka Mignon line enough. I have a Libra, but many below grind the same. Their product line is too complicated and it changes every year, I'm pretty sure to obfuscate and segment the market. So I made a break down of each Mignon here: https://www.reddit.com/user/d

Help me pick a grinder for my Bambino Plus [$800]
The grinder is the most important part of your setup; much more important than the espresso machine. Get the best grinder your budget can stand. A better grinder will be more consistent and have fine grained or stepless adjustments, making your learning curve on how to dial in easier. At your budget

Trying to optimize my setup
Baratza Encore Esp can do the job but I moved on from it quickly. If you can afford to spend more, a nice grinder will reward you.

New Espresso Grinder and Machine from Crate and Barrel [$1000]

If you want a super auto, and can chip in another 200 bucks, the JURA C3 is probably your best choice, they carry Miele but they're way over your budget. If you want a separate grinder/semi automatic then yo

Best cheaper grinder [200€].
Baratza Encore ESP, but maybe consider a manual grinder; you will have a better result for the same money. But it will be manual.

Suggestions required for grinder
In order: DF64 Gen 2 Rift/Orbit 64 DF54 V4 Baratza Encore ESP (only if budget is super tight) If you want a one and done, get the DF64 Gen 2, align it right out of the box (easy to do) and you're set for a long long time, even if you choose to upgrade your machine a few years later, you probably won

All the money and hassle is worth it when you can pull a killer shot at home.
That depends. You can get an electric espresso grinder for $200. At that price, many people recommend the Baratza Encore ESP, but it gets mixed reviews. There's also the DF54 at $230, but its reviews are also mixed. I don't have a lot of experience with grinders around this price range, but it's my
