Help me choose a coffee grinder!! [$500 budget]

Baratza Encore ESP Pro, it's what cured my rage after the Fellow Opus. Whatever you do, do NOT get an Opus. With the Encore ESP Pro you're good to grind just about anything from a reputable brand for $299.

Espresso afficionados

Check out the Baratza Encore ESP Pro - under $300. Good grinder. Don't just buy any cheap grinder. Buy a grinder that has fine grind settings for espresso.

New to espresso

Though definitely recommended, do keep in mind that grinding your own coffee requires an espresso-capable grinder. If you're on a tight budget, manual grinders are often the way to go. A decent entry level grinder from renowned brands such as Kingrinder or Timemore can be picked up for around $60. I

Quiet electric grinder for drip

All electric grinders are kinda loud, if you want really quiet, you need to go manual. As for an electric grinder for this price, Baratza Encore ESP (Pro) is a good starter option.

A question about espresso machines and what drinks you consume

Baratza encore ESP or Baratza encore ESP PRO are 2 good ones. Or a hand grinder like the kingrinder k6. All considerably less than $500

Dumb Grinder Question - Single Dose Setups

The Baratza Encore ESP Pro, which I have, can be used as a single dose or hopper machine. It comes with a removable hopper, and you can set it to a timed-grind mode where it will grind for whatever time you set it for (presumably to get the dose you want). In single-dose mode, you remove the hopper

I took some people’s advice & got the bambino & a grinder!! I’ve never made espresso before, can you tell me the tips & tricks or direct me to where I can watch videos? Ty!!

There are three encores. The original Encore (classic) which isn't great for espresso from what I've read. It may be quieter though. It has Baratza written down the side and at the base. It starts at about 150. The Encore ESP is 200, and has Baratza written near the hopper. Otherwise it looks simila

Breville bambino

for the best results, yes a grinder ideally made for espresso. not sure what your budget is but the baratza encore esp and esp pro are good bang for buck. a digital scale that measures down to 0.1g precision is probably the most important "accessory" so that you can consistently measure out grounds.
