Are you talking about Klipsch RP-402S surround speakers? Those are not intended for stereo listening. (And those types of speakers aren’t good even as surround sound speakers with the way multichannel codecs are designed these days. They should be regular direct firing (i.e. monopole) speakers.) Als

Yeah sorry for yucking your yum with that; im stoked youre enjoying it. As already noted- Auratones are better for the midrange focus purpose than Avantones, which are a bit too full range. Not sure which version you have (there are quite a few), but they should be useful if you understand their purpose.
