Anyone Using Auratones?

As already noted- Auratones are better for the midrange focus purpose than Avantones, which are a bit too full range. Not sure which version you have (there are quite a few), but they should be useful if you understand their purpose.

Mono summing using hardware?

A mono Auratone/Avantone is great for checking mono and focusing in on the midrange, but if the goal is translation to small bluetooth speakers I don't think they're that useful because they sound very different.
