Whats better for music productions Audio-Technica ath-m50x or sony mdr 7506

I'd actually highly recommend the ATH-M40x headphones. They have a much more even and flat response and are much better for music production. The ATH-M50x's are more for tracking and listening to music as a consumer. I find the Sony MDR-7506's to be harsh and lack low end. The Sony MDR-7506's are te

Headphone suggestions

Audio-Technica ATH-M40x is around your budget. If you extend your budget get a ATH-M50x. They are really good studio monitors..I use the ATH-M60x The only other headphone i can think of around your budget is Sennheiser HD 560S. Everything else people suggest are just for casual listening.

Being and Audiophile with Tinnitus

Mine are different, as my tinnitus is stress/burnout-related and is always a background screech, I cannot hear it with music playing. What I understood from other people with tinnitus is that headphones are often the best option. Which ones, is hard to tell, that is very personal.I personally would a

What do I need for an SM58 mic?

When you are starting out, any XLR cable and mic stand will do just fine, just make sure you also have a microphone clip to attach it to the stand. For the audio interface I would recommend the Behringer UMC202HD, IMO it is the same sound quality than the starting focusrite... For the headphones I l

Headphones to use with amp

Beyerdynamic DT770 Pro 32 ohm Audio Technica ATH-M40x (cheaper, has detachable cable) ATH-M50x will work but I find its bass response muddies up easily (especially with playing a bass guitar). M40x has a flatter response Some amps just sound bad through headphones, I find Katanas need some EQ reduct

Gw ex-user Khastadio OS1 (menurutku OS1 sama OS2 mirip2 aja suaranya tapi O

Which headphones should I buy?

I've had a good experience with Audio Technica ATH-M40x from 10 years ago. They have a fairly flat response and full range. I'm not sure if anything has changed in current models. They are around $100.
