Best headphones for Video Editing.

I also edit on a Mac mini and I use a pair of Audio-Technica ATH-M40x headphones. For critical listening you need a good pair of over-the-ear studio reference monitor phones for accuracy, comfort and passive isolation. What you don't need is active noise cancellation specially in consumer grade head

Whats better for music productions Audio-Technica ath-m50x or sony mdr 7506

I'd actually highly recommend the ATH-M40x headphones. They have a much more even and flat response and are much better for music production. The ATH-M50x's are more for tracking and listening to music as a consumer. I find the Sony MDR-7506's to be harsh and lack low end. The Sony MDR-7506's are te

Casual Discussion Fridays - Week of June 05, 2026

So last week I took my Audio-Technica ATH-M40x headphones out of storage, saw that the ear pads were unsalvageably disintegrated, threw them out to get rid of all the little vinyl fragments, and ordered replacements. Cut to Saturday, when the replacements arrived and I actually looked at the instruc

Headphone suggestions

Audio-Technica ATH-M40x is around your budget. If you extend your budget get a ATH-M50x. They are really good studio monitors..I use the ATH-M60x The only other headphone i can think of around your budget is Sennheiser HD 560S. Everything else people suggest are just for casual listening.

Ustedes perciden la calidad de Audio?

Yo te puedo recomendar éstos auriculares: Sennheiser HD 660 S Audio-Technica ATH-M40x AKG K240 Studio Y, para un buen sonido es mejor que sean alambricos.

I fished out the Audio-Technica ATH-M40x headphones which I hadn't used in a while (because I eventually switched up a model) but I do have a Bluetooth adapter for them and I've been feeling the need lately to use wireless audio that isn't via earbuds. I discovered that the leatherette on the earcup

Being and Audiophile with Tinnitus

Mine are different, as my tinnitus is stress/burnout-related and is always a background screech, I cannot hear it with music playing. What I understood from other people with tinnitus is that headphones are often the best option. Which ones, is hard to tell, that is very personal.I personally would a

What headphones (no mic)are you using to play in 2026?

AudioTechnica ATH M40xI use the M70x right now, but if you only care about FPS games the M40x is actually easier to hear things with. The M70x sounds amazing, but it has this issue where the headband breaks pretty easily. Mine already snapped, so I cannot really recommend it lol.

Trying to set my gf up for Xmas & don’t know where to start

If you already have a decent laptop and monitors, a Ddj flx4 and some headphones like the Audio Technica ATH-M40x would set her up to start djing!
