Why did you choose ASUSTOR over Synology? Looking for real-world opinions before I buy.
I chose ASUSTOR mainly because of the price, the features, and the hardware compatibility. What I needed was a NAS that could back up all my devices, run scheduled backups to other storage, share folders across my home network, and host applications and services in Docker containers. ASUSTOR checked

In search of a 2 bay NAS
The cheapest on Amazon is a 3304T, but the 5402T for an additional $30 not only has more RAM, but more importantly a lot more CPU, so I would go for that one. Oh wait, I did go for that one...twice already. I've upgraded the RAM to 32GB and added 2 1TB SSD's in each. I added a Xpanstor 4 AS5004U, 4
