Please share your experience with the Asus ZenWiFi BT10

I just finished testing the BT10 and really enjoyed my time with it. Setup was straightforward, it stayed stable throughout testing, and I saw consistent speeds with good range. In our tests we push coverage out to about 30 meters from the base, with the satellite placed in two different locations,

Dream Router 7 or Asus BT8/BT10

You sound exactly like me. Work from home. Don't mind tinkering, hate fixing. Computer background from school (lawyer now though). I have an old house, fiber comes in the back of the house and I have cat6 running around the outside of the house to the middle and end of my house. (My house is long an

A few questions about Asus mesh setup

I have 3 ASUS BT10 units. It's easy. You connect the first one to PC and configure it as a router or AP with ASUS wizard (address can be either router.asus.com or asusrouter.com), accessible with browser. When config of the first unit is done, connect PC to the next unit. Choose "mesh node" at initi

New WiFi router suggestions

I really like the ASUS ZenWiFi series. I have the BT10 and BT8 as a mesh pair, but might be overkill if you don’t need Wi-Fi 7 (or care about future-proofing). I find ASUS routers easy to set up but you can really dive deep into options if you feel the need to, and they don’t charge a subscription f

Plz recommend between Orbi 870, 970 or Eero Max 7

Also switch to Asus. I’m using a Unifi ultra wired router to Asus BT10 (2 of them) in AP mode. Def a smidge more involved than what Orbi gives you but seems to be doing much better so far.

Deco BE95 vs Omada 787

I saw and replied to your post on the TP-Link forum, from what I understand, you have 5Gb Fibre so want a 10Gb WAN and then 10Gb LAN for the backhaul. You need whatever acccess point you get that will be the router to have both. And as you say the ISP provided router needs to be replaced by whatever

Could use some advice on ethernet alternatives.

Yes, wired ethernet is really the answer. We use a wireless mesh here, works well for us. The ISP fiber optic cable comes into the back part of our house (family room) which is where my desktop computer is. However, the living room, in the front part of the house, is about 60' and a couple of walls

Eero 7 or TP Link Deco BE95?

Since you ask, just got this one myself, but very impressed with it. The Asus ZenWiFi BT10 mesh is working really well for us. We have only two nodes, and that covers our 2000 sq.ft. two-story house fully. We have gigabit fiber internet, and speed tests in our living room on a Samsung S25+ wifi-7 ph

Advice for Fiber media converter -> Switch -> Main router and Secondary router

Strange enough, it worked briefly until I changed a setting regarding priority and I couldn’t get it back up again. My cables are going through walls. I have to have the switch into the wall… Sorry for the AI reply, but look: Traditional vs. Mesh Networking • Traditional Setup: With conventional rou

3 router set up

I've got the ZenWiFi BT10 mesh set up here, with wireless backhaul. It works really well for us. It's only two nodes, but that's all we need. One node (router node) in the family room on one side of the house, and the other node in the dining room, more towards the middle/front of the house. Great c
