Personal preference or is Windows just superior as an OS? [Rant]
You pretty much summed up why I very much don't like macOS. Dock, "fullscreen" mode, multiple monitor support, need to use many 3rd party apps to change basic stuff like... smooth scrolling or tinker with the terminal to disable stupid mouse acceleration. Anyway about laptops - check out the newest

Looking for a lightweight Linux laptop
ASUS is worth checking out. I began my Linux journey six months ago on an ASUS Vivobook S 14 (S5406SA), which ran Fedora flawlessly. It’s powered by an Intel Lunar Lake chip, delivering excellent battery life and barely any fan noise. For a bit more performance than Lunar Lake, I’ve heard the ASUS Z

Pls 🥺🙏 give suggestions (stores) to buy laptop in Kolkata (with good discount)
Thik hai. I have got a Legion. Unless you want to burn your motherboard, don't go with GPU in that light weight laptops. Or go fully for a Legion or ROG Strix SCAR if interest and budget allows. For now.. This one satisfies all your conditions.. https://in.store.asus.com/light-weight-laptop-asus-zen

Is Asus Zenbook S14 not a X1 carbon killer?
I own both these laptops. The Lenovo feels more premium and it is noticeably lighther. However the zenbook has better performances and the cooling must be better because the fan doesn't kick in as often. I prefer the anti-glare OLED screen of the Lenovo. The Asus OLED screen is also really nice but i

Asus ZenBook 14 OLED
The Core Ultra 9 is quite powerful but I wouldn't recommend it in a Zenbook 14. Its a thin and light laptop and a recipe for overheating because the fans are small. Try a Core Ultra 7.

Asus ZenBook 14 OLED
I had this one before had to take it back, its a powerful CPU but it got way too hot(it has one fan) which made the battery life suck. I personally cant stand premium laptops with 60Hz displays either.

Asus’ lightweight 16-inch laptop is a formidable MacBook Air alternative
Is it comparing with the MacBook Pro though? Asus’ “real” MacBook Pro competition is the ProArt P16. Comes with a higher resolution Tandem OLED display, more ports, better speakers, better cooling, a more sturdy build, a bigger battery and way more performance. Not to mention a price tag to match. I

Bu bilgisayara linux kurmak mantıklı mı?
Yeni bilgisayarım Asus Zenbook s14 ve evet kubuntuyu Windowsun yanına kurdum. Windows'ta cihaz daha açıldığında fan çalışmaya başlarken kubuntudan genel itibariyle memnunum ve ana işletim sistemim linux.

Do I need to prioritise GPU as a CSE student?
I have an ASUS Zenbook S14 (UX5406) with Core Ultra 7 258V 32GB+1TB variant. It also has OLED display but a 3K Touchscreen one. And let me tell you, it CAN game. Now, here's the distinction though, my 258V is more geared towards iGPU, efficiency and single core performance compared to the 255H. But,

Work Laptop Suggestion..
If it’s mainly for work, calls, spreadsheets, and docking, both are solid but I’d lean toward the Zenbook 14 OLED. It’s lighter, quieter, and still plenty fast for your workload, plus the screen is amazing for long hours. The XPS 16 is powerful but bigger and heavier than most people expect. If you
