Comp eng student deciding between two laptops - prices are in CAD
They re both "budgety" laptops. I saw the following troubling review of the Asus Vivobook S16 a few days ago. JarrodsTech seems to like the Lenovo LOQ series, at least as far as price/value/quality goes. Something to consider is that the Asus one is "open box", seems like someone bought it, didn't l

Are MacBooks worth it?
Never liked Apple product for one simple reason - over priced. Even if they are very good quality and last long but they get outdated and by that time one should have bought another one. Another reason - you are getting trapped into Apple's ecosystem. Buy this laptop from Costco. https://www.costco.

Opinions on getting this - ASUS Vivobook S16 OLED S3607CA 16" Laptop, PC - Intel® Core™ Ultra 5, 1 TB SSD,
“I actually went for something similar recently and got my first solid pick through Reddit recommendations 😅 For £599, this ASUS Vivobook S16 OLED S3607CA is honestly a pretty solid deal if your use is general stuff — browsing, content, light editing, maybe some coding. Big win here is the OLED disp

Need a laptop for engineering
Go for 2nd one- Asus Zenbook. I have 13 inch Zenbook for 2.5 years - going very well. Very premium feel-only few issues-microphone stopped working. Windows 11 requires at least 10GB-12BG for itself so 32GB is good enough for next 3-5 years. Not a big fan of touch screen laptops as it invites unwante

Vedeli by ste mi poradiť laptop na prácu a náročný multitasking do 1250 eur?
V podstate je to jedno. Z mojich skúseností Asus, Lenovo = dobré, Thinkpad drahé, ale najlepšie a najtrvácnejšie aj keď nie najlepší bank for the buck. Acer, HP nemusia byť nutne zlé, ale ešte som od týchto značiek nemal nič, čo by sa z ničoho nič nepokazilo. Osobne by som zobral toto kvôli tomu dob

LG Gram, or Asus Vivobook S?

AMD 9 AI vs Intel Ultra 7 Vivobook?
i've tested both chips. the ryzen 370 runs hotter but gives ~15% better multicore for ml workloads. that oled screen kills battery though - you'll get 4-5 hours vs 7-8 on the intel with lower res. pre-owned worries me for a daily driver. honestly for your mix of coding and casual use the new intel 2

AMD 9 AI vs Intel Ultra 7 Vivobook?
Bought in november asus vivobook s16 m3607-ha with ryzen 7 260, integrated 780M, 32gb ram ( 2x16gb dual channel), 1TB nvme ssd, 144 Hz display IPS tho. Beautiful build, slim chassis, but only one fan. For everyday use maybe overkill but playing games like cs2 and cities skylines runs smooth. Never e
