Windows on ARM vs x86

I'm on a Vivobook S 15: I'm not sure what you mean by useless services, which ones in particular? I had to tweak the registry to get it to use aptX, there's unfortunately no setting that shows what is being used so you'd have to use an external device or software though, but it does support it. You'

Help with buying laptop

Blender and Premiere Pro change things a lot, you really need a dedicated GPU for those. At your budget look at the ASUS Vivobook 16X with RTX 3050 or the Lenovo IdeaPad 5 Pro with RX 6600M. Both sit around $900 to $1k and will handle everything on your list including Blender without too much pain.

Is Qualcomm too incompetent or did they simply lie about Linux support?

The Asus Vivobook S15 (with the X1E78100) which I own currently has everything working on it except for the camera: https://wiki.postmarketos.org/wiki/ASUS_Vivobook_S_15_(asus-s5507q)) Someone even wrote their own driver for controlling the keyboard backlight. I'm considering getting the Vivobook S15 fo

AMD is done

it also looks like maybe Intel may have used used 2x upscaling for their benchmarks, and did not appear to use upscaling for AMD. reads a little ambiguous though. and the fact that no quality or info was given about the upscaling is concerning. "As measured by Geomean of average game performance acr
