The GPU comparisons are meaningless. The 890M is in a 54W Vivobook S14 and the 140V is in a 32W XPS 13. They clearly made no attempt to equalize for power. How much is the Qualcomm Extreme reference platform using?

I have an asus vivobook s14 with a 75wh battery which lasts around 6-7 hours on a full charge with balanced energy preset and none of the power saving measures enabled. I guess it’s ok but the issue is that in only 6 months my battery health has gone down to 90%. Even though i have capped my chargin

because there's better options on the market. No? I did some research before I chose the Zenbook, everyone else had compromises. The Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i Aura Edition has a brighter screen, but the Core 7 258V, which is much less powerful. The Vivobook S14 had only a 60hz refresh rate and it was only

Looks like you simply got a bad one. I don't remember having the company's EliteBooks 745 G6s causing problems with eye strain. They also had slightly less keyboard failures (though still plenty over the years), but the keyboard is replaceable with a screwdriver instead of a soldering iron, and take

I'm trying to figure out what can be better for me, i have two laptops for now, Zephyrus G14 5070 Ti, that i can reach 2k 120fps with Multiframe in 4x on Alan Wake 2, or the Vivobook s14 Ultra 7 258v, with the TB 5070 ti. Did you already tried this game? What are your thoughts? The cpu came hotter?

About the spyware, I forgot that it's still Windows. Example of worse price/performance that I have encountered when buying my new laptop: Vivobook S14 OLED -> R7 8845HS = ±812.5 USD -> R AI 7 350 = ±1,137.5 USD The newer, Copilot+PC branded version is more expensive yet it has a similar or worse pe

Gnome, vivobook s14 intel core 226v. For whatever reason even with powertop and tlp settings configured it still drains battery very fast when using it at all. I maybe have to mess with bios settings or swap distro.
