I got ASUS TUF VG27AQ off amazon and it also has an awful smell. I'd describe it as a rancid acidic ish smell. Its likely a leaking capacitor from the research I done. I'm curious if you also ordered yours off of amazon. Most likely capacitors get knocked loose during the rough shipping and handling

I just received mine. It has the same contrast ratio as my six-year-old VG27AQ. I measured it with my i1 Display Pro, and it’s exactly the same: 1300:1 contrast ratio. What a big scam.

Gue pakai xiaomi ultrawide 34 juga sejak 2021. Sampe sekarang masih oke. Dl beli 5,8.. Asus vg27aq beli 2020 7 jutaan, sekarang udah ada whitespot. Walaupun secara warna lbh bagus dan akurat.
