Why’s everyone buying 1080p FHD when 2k 165hz QHD with 100% DCI-P3 exists…
Bro, my Asus tuf gaming a15 fa507xi has a 1080p 144 Hz screen. And it looks amazing, the colors are very good on the screen. And plus, 1080p is better for more frames per second. And not everyone has enough to afford a laptop with a 2k screen. I do not like this post…

MHwilds on RTX 4050 laptop
4050 laptop user here. Game runs. Not super well though. Graphics settings I use is a mixture of low, mostly medium and some high settings at 1080p. Crucially, texture quality is medium. All this barely undercuts the 6gb vram of the 4050, which is good. With the latest nvidia dlss 4, dlss quality an

Hi, got same problem but screen not blinking. Happened suddenly, yesterday it was fine. Blank line and it became worst after 10-20 minutes. Asus Tuf A15 R7-7435HS. Went to the shop I bought it and they said this is the third case, and they all happened just around this month. Anyone have any idea?

Oculus quest 3 setup for simulator
Feel you, used to play on a laptop as well until I finally built a proper PC. But yeah I doubt you will get good performance with the ASUS TUF A15 either way. Depending on the model you will only have 4-8 GB VRAM and that is simply not enough for VR in the first place. You will maybe hit a consisten

Is this laptop ok?
The ASUS TUF A15 you showed is a good mid-range laptop with a strong Ryzen 7 CPU, 16GB RAM, and a decent 144Hz screen. The only weak point is the RTX 3050, which is entry-level for gaming in 2025. It's good for esports and medium settings in AAA games, school/work. If you decide on buying it you can

My teacher is using an ASUS TUF Gaming
Fair, I got an Asus TUF A15 2023 for gaming and many other things that could benefit from it, since I've worked with VMs and even machine learning, it's quite great, didn't expect the GPU to be useful for anything other than gaming and connect a second monitor.

Touchscreen, 2 in 1 or tablet, and RTX 4060 performance minimum, under 2.0kg options and thoughts?
I have the first option with 32 GB RAM. I think thats the sweetspot for you. As for alternatives, I did my research and couldn't find a lot of better alternatives! The best alternatives for me were the ASUS G14 and TUF A15 (but neither would suit your needs as they dont have a touchscreen).
