I get 2000mbps down and up when I’m plugged into an Eero Pro 7, I switched the router to an ASUS RT-AX88U and now I only get 250 down and 50 up. Why is this?
Eero Pro 7 has two 2.5Gbbs ports. They claim 5Gbps, but that only works if your ISP supports link aggregation with two 2.5Gbps RJ45 connected to the ISP modem. If you are getting 2000Mbps from the Eero Pro 7, that tells me you have one RJ45 2.5Gbps connected to your ISP and they are synced up at 2.5

FiOS and Asus Routers
Damn, I would hate that. My RT-AX88U Pro is updated with the latest firmware and the upload speed issue still happened after installing Fios yesterday. My only solution was doing the Dual WAN thing. I hope the same doesn’t begin to happen with mine after some time.

ASUS RT-AX86U Upgrade?
If you have Traffic Analyzer - Statistic enabled on your router, turn that crap off, it is wild how that one setting nerfed my speed on my rt-ax88u pro, You can read about it right I don't know if that was a bug or something and now it's okay But I'll never turn it on again. https://www.snbforums.co

Anyone else upgrading their home Wi-Fi because of the Portal?
I have a XR1000 in my storage. I replaced it with an Asus RT-AX88U Pro. I still miss it for the Duma OS. I assume you are on the latest firmware. Any issues with it? I always ran into UI issues when I logged into the device. It also was very slow to navigate to get to use its features.

Recommend a router for a CF ISP & switching in contract questions
My only recommendation would be to use a provider which has their own router. I made the mistake of seeing an offer for using your own router, went out the way to buy an ASUS RT-AX88U pro as the reviews said perfect for multigig. Then proceeded to hear that it was likely ‘my hardwares fault’ or ‘set

Dream 7 Router - extra kit needed for office wifi access?
I used to have an Asus rt-ax88u as my main router that was connected by asus mesh to an Asus extender which in turn was connected to another asus router acting as an ap mesh node. This worked, but I decided to upgrade due to poor performance and stability. I can’t believe I’m the only person in the

FIOS problems with non-Verizon routers? ASUS specifically?
2 and a half years after your comment and it’s still happening. They haven’t released a firmware to fix this. At least not for the RT-AX88U Pro. Even with all the complaints people have made to ASUS about this over the years. I did the Dual WAN method a couple days ago and the speed tests started sh

Will this router do aquiss 2500
I’ve got the RT AX88U Pro and just moved to Aquiss on 2500 but so far the download is 1800 whereas upload is 2300 consistently. I’ve got a ticket open but CF engineer said it was ISP and vice versa.

Advice
Good luck! I have an ASUS RT-AX88U router, plenty of power. Everything worked great for a year or so. Added a 7th camera and changed the WiFi password. It’s never recovered.
