I put PTM7950 on the following with nothing but good results: TUF 3090, 3090FE (waterblocked), ASUS Zephyrus G14 3060, PS4 Pro APU, PS3 Slim APU, Switch APU. Not to be another redditor, but I’m grateful to have been suggested this.

I will sound like an asshole, but the majority of “issues” you are seeing on this sub are over exaggerated. Basically, you will see a few types of “issues”: Type 1: OMG, my laptop is reaching 80C, G14 sucks, Asus sucks. Well, your g14 is designed to run up to 95C without much throttling. If you want

The zephyrus g14 is pretty easy to repair all considered. Use aliexpress and ebay for parts. Seems your internals work fine. Screen repair is common and easy to source if you wanna do that right now. Same with hinges, you can get full screen+hinge assemblies right now for ~450USD. Watch a few videos

And here my 2020 G14 is doing just fine 5 years later due to regular thermal paste. I was planning on applying LM at one point, but didn't due to the downsides. Asus should just start using PTM6950.

The comments got some great tips! although for the 2024 specifically, you do NOT need to remove the fans, wifi card, SSD, or anything else to get to the cooler. The cooler for the 2024 actually sits on TOP of the fans, so the process is very straightforward. This video is for a different model, but

I wanted a quick and low profile way to add couple more mm to the rear of the laptop. Most version I have seen have a gap that allows the exhaust air to recirculate back into the intake fans. If you have a 3D printer, try it out for yourself. Few degrees temperature improvement. https://makerworld.c

This is the tutorial I followed, it's for the 2023 model but the layout is identical to the 2022 model: https://www.reddit.com/r/ZephyrusG14/comments/1fnowri/the_ultimate_guide_for_repasting_asus_zephyrus/ Here's a video of a person repasting theirs (it's not a tutorial per say but it's good enough to fol

This is a two part question. Technically the Zephyrus G14 can be used on your lap with the right settings in G-Helper (Eco-mode) with no issues. But if you want to game, the computer needs good ventilation due to heat which means you cannot use it on your lap in those cases. 🤷♂️

Ok. Let's be practical. Do you have the financial ability to replace it if it died? Would it financially ruin you? If yes, honestly I would be very hesitant to do this. Second. Is it still going to be under warranty for long? If yes, then I would let it be. In the unlikely event that LM leaks, Asus

The most ironic part is that ASUS Gaming Laptops >>>> All other gaming laptops. Even Lenovo Legion laptops that are pretty decent actually have shitty USB-C ports that fail after a year or two. At one point, Razer Blade laptops used to have very high build quality in 2015-2018 while also having a pr
